Doe een bod

Bust representing the theme of "Vanitas".
These themes were very popular, especially in the 1600s, the name comes from the biblical quote
‘vanitas vanitatum et omnia vanitas’, which was a warning of the ephemeral human condition, as well as the "Memento mori".

High quality sculpture, for connoisseurs. Original Todini workshop model.
For the skull a good Carrara marble has been carved, for the mantle the precious Spanish "Emperador" marble was used.
Exceptional contrast of shades between the two marbles.

This sculpture is part of an array of museum-find looking works, created at Todini’s laboratory, which the Lazio Region designated in 2011 as a workshop “of high aesthetic and cultural value”, granting the use of the origin and quality hallmark.
The shop was subsequently included by the OMA of Florence into the list of Italian excellence crafts.

It will be shipped in a safe wooden crate via express courier.
