Rare reliquary in 800 silver containing the relics of St. Rosalia and St. Pier Damiani.

Reliquary in 800 silver filigree containing the sacred and rare relics of St. Rosalia virgin hermit, bone fragments of the miraculous patron saint of the City of Palermo (1130-1170), whose annual feast is one of the most important religious events in the world .
The reliquary also contains the relics of St. Pier Damiani, bishop and doctor of the Catholic church.

As shown in the photos, the precious reliquary is placed in a silvered metal frame with finely embossed scrollwork, a piece of Sicilian manufacture from the 18th century.
The reliquary is in perfect condition, still with its sealing wax seal.
The support part, on the other hand, is more recent.
Overall size: 33 x 25 cm, reliquary 6 x 4.4 cm.
